TOC Events Worldwide

TOC - Over 30 years of success

The Terminal Operations Conference & Exhibition (TOC) is the longest-running series of trade events for the international shipping, port and terminal communities in the world. TOC was originally launched in Europe in 1976, followed by the addition of TOC Asia in 1993 and TOC Americas in 1997.

TOC brings together executives from shippers, liner shipping, ports, terminals, inland transport, finance and other stakeholder groups to discuss challenges and opportunities for maritime container trade, with particular focus on ports and terminals as critical nodes in international transport chains.

TOC is now held annually in Europe, Asia and the Americas. A new product, TOC Market Briefing, was launched in 2008 to provide more in-depth focus on specific regional economies, trades and transport infrastructure. The first TOC Market Briefing took place in Ecuador, September 2008, with focus on the West Coast South America marketplace.

The events are usually staged in a major or upcoming port city. Past venues have included Antwerp, Barcelona, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Genoa, Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Panama.

Each TOC event provides a high level conference, practical workshops, exhibition, networking opportunities at evening receptions and, usually, a site visit to the local port/terminal facilities.
TOC?s longevity is testament to its continued strong emphasis on providing high quality networking, business and learning opportunities
