Mark is presently working with Diageo Working for Diageo, the largest international alcohol company in the world, in Singapore as the APAC Customer Service and Logistics Director.  In this capacity, he is responsible regionally for improving PLAN, DELIVER and Customer Service capabilities and for running a distribution and postponement Centre in Singapore. 

Mark has been lucky enough to have enjoyed a number of assignments prior to this.  These include “knowledge engineering” for Unilever Research and a number of Foods factories in the UK, working on production efficiencies in the UK, transferring best practice for manufacturing automation in Europe as well as leading IT developments and operations for 2 Unilever companies.

More recently Mark joined Unilever Thailand in 1995, where he started in IT, moved to Supply Chain after 3 years, led some process & customer service improvement programs and re-organisations and then increasingly assumed regional responsibility for Logistics and Customer Service.

Mark moved to Singapore in January, 2009 and joined Diageo Singapore in May, 2011.

Mark’s secondary education is from schools in South Africa, The Netherlands and England.  He went to university in Leeds, England and obtained a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering there.

Mark has 2 young adult children, enjoys good, spicy food, photography, traveling, football coaching & playing with electronic toys.
