1) Could you tell us a bit about your company and what you'll be showcasing at TOC Asia 2024?

Boxbay is a dynamic company with deep-rooted expertise. Established in 2018, we may be relatively young, but we are built upon the extensive technological knowledge of AMOVA (part of the SMS Group), which boasts over 150 years of experience, and the 52 years of port operation expertise from DP World.

This rich heritage allows us to integrate diverse technological concepts with a robust engineering foundation, enhanced by seasoned operational insights. At TOC Asia 2024, we will highlight the customizable and scalable nature of Boxbay, emphasizing its core principles as an automated solution.

2) Who are you hoping to connect with at the event?

At all TOC events, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect and network with professionals across all levels within the port industry, as well as with fellow solution providers. These interactions provide us with valuable insights into current trends and developments in the port sector.

3) Why is the APAC market so important to you?

The APAC region, encompassing Asia and Oceania, represents a diverse and rapidly growing market for port development. Boxbay's capability for customization and scalability enables us to offer tailored solutions for both Greenfield and Brownfield ports across this region, addressing their unique development needs. By collaborating with various ports, we aim to enhance their operational efficiency and competitiveness, adapting to their specific requirements, operational cultures, and prerequisite conditions.

4) What are your plans, goals and ambitions for the rest of 2024 and beyond?

As a young startup, our primary goal for the remainder of 2024 and beyond is to establish recognition within the port development industry as a trusted adviser for highly efficient automated container yard solutions.

5) Why do you consider it important to be at TOC Asia?

For nearly three decades, TOC Asia has established itself as a prominent event in the port industry, serving as a unique annual platform for networking and exchanging industry insights. It provides an invaluable opportunity for reconnecting with longstanding colleagues and forging new relationships within the region.

6) What message do you have for the TOC community who will be in Singapore?

As we approach the end of 2024, it is a privilege to gather at TOC Asia 2024 to reflect on the developments within the port industry. Looking ahead to 2025, let us prepare for its challenges and continue our discussions when we meet again at TOC Asia 2025.
